My Hopes For 2025

  I am definitely having some jitters about leaving my job. I am so excited for the freedom, but a part of me is really going to miss my apartment and New York. Living here has been such a dream. This is the first apartment I have truly loved and felt like home in. I love the beat and pulse of New York City (what a cliche, right?). But I am so heartbroken at having to leave my apartment. I even thought about renegotiating my contract with my current job and went through the entire process of creating a plan to possibly stay in my current position. But a part of me knows that is not the right step. Sure, I'll get to stay in my apartment and continue my life here, but there is no growth in that. I have to accept the fact that I am stagnant in this job and there will be no opportunities to grow as both a professional and a person. My Health Journey #2: My Reasons Why

 

  1. To see "1--" on the scale again
  2. To have my airplane seat belt fit comfortably
  3. To feel comfortable while traveling  
  4. To not worry whether I will fit into a ride at Disney
  5. To feel pretty wearing a dress
  6. To be able to walk up 10+ stairs without getting short of breath 
  7. To reduce my risk of high cholesterol, heart disease, gallbladder disease, etc 
  8. To lighten up my facial hyperpigmentation
  9. To fit into my Indian clothes that I spent hundreds of dollars on and never wore once 
  10. To fit into my formal dresses that I spent hundreds of dollars on and never wore once
  11. To have more energy to live life to the fullest
  12. To feel confident in my own skin again 
  13. To not shy away at looking at mirrors and feeling ashamed of myself
  14. To be healthy enough to carry a child and be a mother someday
  15. To feel worthy of love from a man
  16. To be able to go shopping in the regular/non-plus section
  17. To have a normal relationship with food again
  18. To stop snoring at night
  19. To feel light 
  20. To get back to my high school body and weight
